Looking for reason to get moving? Here are four good ones: cancer, diabetes, heart disease and stroke! Being physically active for at least 30 minutes on 5 or more days each week can help you feel better and reduce your risk of these diseases. This includes things like walking, biking – even housework and gardening. The more active you are the more benefits you gain. Sound impossible to find another 30 minutes in a day for physical activity? Good news! You don’t have to do all 30 minutes continuously. Being active for 10 to 15 minutes at a time 2 to 3 times a day can help improve your health. So whether you have a set routine or just try to find ways to be more active during your day, the important part is that you get up and get moving!
