Support Local Radio and Local Land Conservation.

KPCW Summer Pledge Drive | September 15 | This Green Earth | 9:00-10:00 AM

From open space to the airwaves, we’re celebrating the places and stories that connect our community! That's why Summit Land Conservancy is excited to partner with our favorite local radio station on Tuesday, September 15, for the KPCW Summer Pledge Drive! If you enjoy public radio, AND open space, then make sure to call in to This Green Earth! Summit Land Conservancy's CEO Cheryl Fox, VP of Communications Caitlin Willard, and Board member Charlie Sturgis will be lighting up the airwaves to raise money for the public radio station that keeps our community informed and connected.

We save land and water across northern Utah, but we cannot do what we do without KPCW. Your donations support KPCW and help us spread the word out about our work all year long!

Rock Solid Stewardship.

Stewardship Saturday | September 19 | 9:00 AM –12:00 PM | Round Valley

Get your hands dirty and help us give one of Round Valley’s seasonal streams a little TLC!

Join Summit Land Conservancy and Serve Park City for a hands-on morning building Zeedyk structures: simple rock structures that slow water, reduce erosion, and help streams and wetlands heal naturally.

The intermittent stream carries snowmelt through Round Valley each winter and spring, but years of erosion have carved deep channels that send water rushing across the landscape. Together, we’ll strategically place these structures to slow the flow, spread water across the floodplain, and support healthier wet meadow habitat for plants and wildlife.

Come learn a new conservation skill, spend a morning outdoors, and leave a lasting impact on one of our most iconic landscapes.

Current-ly Unwinding.

Mindful Mondays Sound Bath | September 21 | Marchant Meadows| 6:00-7:30 PM | $10

Take a break from the noise of busy every day life, and settle into the rhythms of nature.

Join us for an immersive sound bath with Amy Cairn, surrounded by the gentle rush of the Weber River and the protected pastures of Marchant Meadows. Using crystal singing bowls, chimes, and gentle percussion, Amy will guide you through a relaxing experience designed to encourage mindfulness, restoration, and a renewed sense of balance.

Bring a blanket or yoga mat, get comfortable, and let the soothing sounds of the instruments and river help you clear your mind and reconnect with what matters.

Your $10 contribution supports our expert guide and helps us continue offering unique programs that connect our community with the lands we work to protect.

From Bine to Stein.

Hoppy Hour | September 24 | Offset Bier Co. | 6:00-9:00 PM | $25

On August 26, over 30 volunteers joined us for our annual hops harvest, hand-picking fresh, wild-growing hops from land permanently protected by Summit Land Conservancy. It was a big crew, a beautiful day, and one seriously fresh harvest. And when we say fresh, we mean it. Just days after coming off the bines, our hops landed in the brew kettle at Offset Bier Co., where they’re becoming four limited-batch wet-hopped ales— beers you can only make during this short window each season.

Now the hops are doing their thing...

Next up: Hoppy Hour on September 24, where you can taste the open space for yourself!

Hoppy Hour tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Your $25 ticket includes two beer tokens, appetizers from Kwai Thai Kitchen, and one entry into our Hop-portunity Drawing for a chance to win swag from some of our incredible partners.

A huge thank-you to all our hard-working harvest volunteers, our new partner Offset Bier Co., and to Este Pizza for keeping our hops hunters crew fueled with plenty of pizza!

Lather Up. Save Land.

Wildeway's Wasatch Mist Bar Cleans Up for Conservation

Meet Wasatch Mist, a new soap bar from our friends at Wildeway, inspired by the landscapes of the Wasatch Mountains and made to bring a little bit of the outdoors into your daily routine.

With a blend of lavender, lemongrass, cedarwood, and clary sage, Wasatch Mist brings fresh, woodsy, mountain-inspired scents to your daily wash.

And there’s a bonus: 1% of the profits from every Wasatch Mist bar sold comes back to Summit Land Conservancy, supporting our work to save the lands and waters that make this place so special.

So go ahead. Wash up for open space.
