Who: DSAWM members aged 16+
When: alternating Thursdays, September 12 - December 12 from 6-8pm
*2 sessions offered, each group meets biweekly
*no class on October 31 or November 28
Cooking Capers is taught by experienced GVSU Master's level dietetic students, so parents and caregivers do not need to stay. Participants learn culinary terminology, cooking methods, measurements, and kitchen safety while crafting a delicious, healthy recipe. Students enjoy the fruits of their labor at the end of each class. Our menu is always gluten-free. Parents are welcome to stay and socialize together in the dining area or drop off students and return at the end of class.
