After-School and Saturdays

NEW! - Now open for registration: A Tues/Thurs after-school session of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! Due to interest level, we've made a bit of a pivot in programming, replacing our previous Tues/Thur after-school program with a 2nd session of the NON-musical production of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

(The M/W session of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is now full.) 

Our new registration portal offers the option of paying through automatic installments. See if they will work for your family. If not, a Pay What You Can option is still available.

If you require a pay-what-you-can option:

Include: 

• The program(s) for which you plan to register
• A brief explanation of need/circumstance
• The amount you are able to pay
• Let us know if your young person receives free or reduced lunch at a Tacoma Public School

Via email, you will be sent a promo code that will enable you to complete the registration process, paying the amount you are able.

Tacoma Youth Theatre

is now part of the Tacoma Creates Community.

Starting on July 1st, TYT became part of Tacoma Creates with a $42,000 contract from the city of Tacoma to provide our theatre programming for the greater community. This contract will make it possible to continue to offer Pay-What-You-Can Tuition and Tickets in our effort to provide sustainable, accessible, and equitable arts programming for the young artists in our community.

Tacoma Creates is a fund made possible by local voters and is supported by local tax dollars, so thank YOU for your support of the cultural sector.

Tacoma Youth Theatre is honored to receive funding from Tacoma Creates - the first Cultural Access initiative of its kind in Washington State, expanding access to arts, culture, heritage, and science experiences in Tacoma.
