With a flurry of early Overnight Camp enrollments, we are at 65% full for the 2018 camp season and the girls groups are closer to 85% full. We currently have waitlists for the JC Girls, Senior Girls 2nd Session and some of the short Campers Away sessions. CCSC STAFF IN THE NEWS
CCSC Assistant Director
Angie McDermed represented the Missouri Valley in Fort Lauderdale at the USTA Nationals. While her team did not win the championship, this was an incredible accomplishment for the mother of 3 beautiful CCSC Campers. Angie returned to camp last summer to work with our girls units. She and her husband
Elliot met at camp while counselors and have remained loyal CCSC supporters. Elliot owns one of the largest Tennis Centers in the mid-west and returned for part of the summer to assist with the CCSC Tennis programs.

We're excited to share that counselors
Jennifer Rosa and Stockton Farmer are to be wed in July 2018. I'm sure many of the camp family will be invited, but if we have too many, we could be forced to add this to the Camp Trip List. Now that would be the best camp trip ever!
Counselor and PSP
Alison (Scotty) McCarlie announced her engagement to long-time friend Michael Butchart. Alison has been teaching in Edinburgh SCOTLAND, entertaining CCSC Travelers and enjoying some adventurous world travels.
CCSC Alumni Director
Henri Rauschenbach recently returned from China where he
gave the Keynote talk to a large China-U.S. health care summit in Suzhou, China. It was attended by one thousand Chinese hospital and health care providers. He tried a few Early Show jokes but they were lost in translation.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HENRI
While the Cape Cod Sea Camps continues celebrating 95 years of Camping, our esteemed colleague, CCSC Alumni Director and host of The Early Show, Henri Rauschenbach turned 70. Campers Song and Didi Rauschenbach, Whitney and Alex Rauschenbach along with 50 dignitaries from throughout MA were on hand to celebrate the occasion in regal splendor. Wally added some some Early Show laughter with a Top Ten reasons for Henri.
CCSC GATHERINGS WORLDWIDE
The list of CCSC gatherings hosted by the CCSC Directors is growing and posted under Directors Travels on the CCSC website. We have an exciting agenda lined up for the winter and may be in a city near you. We are setting up more Open Houses in Camper neighborhoods so stay tuned.

SCOTLAND REUNIONS
Nancy and Dave traveled to Scotland earlier this fall and enjoyed a few staff gatherings in Edinburgh and Dundee. Alison "Scotty" McCarlie joined Nancy and Dave in Edinburgh while Orla "Uma" Mendham, Sarah Campbell and Drew Fox had a fun dinner with Nancy and Dave in Dundee.
SHARKFEST 2017
On October 7th, CCSC hosted our fall speaker series with Marianne Long from the Great White Shark Conservancy as well as representatives from the Cape Fisherman's Alliance. Some 30 Alumni and campers attended the inaugural event which was followed by an open house for new campers. Marianne Long works with School Groups throughout the state so we hope she will be available to meet our campers this summer.
