Call for Case Presentations

For this fall series, individuals selected to present a case will receive a $100 gift card as a thank-you for contributing to our shared learning community and in appreciation for your time and effort in preparing your case.

Case presentations can focus on:

  • A patient scenario involving the use of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) in a correctional setting, or
  • A systems-level challenge related to implementing or sustaining MAT in correctional facilities.

Presentations are typically 10–15 minutes, followed by group discussion and feedback. This is a great way to highlight challenges, share innovations, and engage peers in problem-solving across the correctional MAT landscape.

Interested in presenting? Submit your case idea today and help drive meaningful conversation and learning—while earning a token of appreciation for your time and expertise. More information on the case submission form.

Program Information

Spectrum Health Systems is a leading provider of substance use treatment, including the implementation of Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) within the Massachusetts Department of Corrections (MA DOC). As part of our ongoing commitment to improving healthcare in correctional settings, we facilitate an Advancing Medications for Addiction Treatment in Correctional Settings ECHO Series.

About the ECHO Series:

Since 2020, Spectrum Health Systems has pioneered the introduction of MOUD in the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, and the need for shared learning and collaboration on best practices is more critical than ever. As many states work to successfully implement MOUD programs within their correctional facilities, this series is an essential space for sharing knowledge and strategies.

Goals of the ECHO Series:

  • Enhance skills in implementing evidence-based MOUD programs in correctional settings
  • Address logistical and systemic barriers to successful MOUD integration
  • Foster collaboration among correctional healthcare teams

Target Audience:

Correctional staff involved in MAT / MOUD care; correctional MAT / MOUD program physicians, APRNs, nurses, social workers, case managers, and recovery coaches; potential providers planning to do this work in corrections
