The OLLI at SOU office will be closed Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 10, for staff training. The OLLI voicemail and email inbox will be checked at various intervals those days; we appreciate your patience as volunteers and staff respond at a slower rate. Because of the training, the OLLI office will be open during its summer hours of 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11. We appreciate your understanding!

Contribute your knowledge, skills and passion to the OLLI learning community! Your course can make a positive impact on the OLLI membership. Help maintain this diverse and enriching experience by submitting a proposal for your Winter course. Art, Nature, Dance, Language. There's an OLLI member who wants to know more about what you can bring to them. Courses can run from two to ten sessions and usually last from one to two hours. Support is available for you as you submit your proposal, build your course, and learn the classroom and Zoom technology. We are taking proposals now through the end of August, and Winter term starts Monday, January 8th. Select this link to access the Winter course proposal form. Boost your OLLI experience by learning the basics of Zoom! Join our Teaching on Zoom Orientation on Saturday, August 26th, from 10:00-12:00 on Zoom. An experienced OLLI instructor will suggest ways to run an engaging course and a veteran Zoom Mentor will take you through the essential tools for your online interactions. Join us and level up your online experience!

This year's OLLI Open House was a huge success with 700+ attendees! Such a turnout would not have been possible without the planning and organizing efforts of OLLI's Communications and Community Outreach Committee and the amazing fleet of volunteers who showed up to help! Attendees were welcomed and assisted as they made the circuit of tables offering information about OLLI courses, SOU and community partners' programs, door prizes, refreshments, and OLLI registration. Energy was high, and participants enjoyed learning about what OLLI has to offer, as well as making connections with our many community partners and sponsors.
