Open Enrollment Begins Today
Follow this link for the online course catalog, and sign up for as many classes as you can squeeze into your schedule. You may also submit a course request by sending an email to olli@sou.edu, or calling 541-552-6048. OLLI staff are standing by to provide assistance. Please note that course requests will be processed in the order received.


Changed your mind about taking a course? Just email the OLLI office with "DROP" in the subject line and include your name and the title of the course(s). We will free up that space so someone else can add it.
Winter Course Proposals
Course proposals for winter term are coming in right now! Courses can be online, or in Ashland or Medford. Teach a course on your topic using your teaching style. Discussion. Hands-on. Lecture. Bring your passion to the OLLI at SOU membership. Course proposals come in throughout this month. Use this link to take you to the proposal form. Winter courses begin on January 8th. Lots of time to plan and practice!

Thinking about teaching an online OLLI course? Just want to learn how to Zoom? Join two experienced OLLI Zoom instructors online on Saturday, August 26, from 10:00 a.m. to noon for ideas about conducting an interesting course and using basic Zoom controls. See you there!

Free Pipe Organ Concert at SOU Music Hall
Dr. Margaret Evans—one of OLLI's dedicated volunteer leaders—will present an organ recital at the SOU Music Recital Hall on Friday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. entitled “Musical Delights.” The program will include works by Swann, Handel, Bach, Schumann, Widor, and Ives.

Dr. Cynthia Hutton SOU Music Professor Emerita, and french horn player, will be her special guest on the program.

Dr. Margaret Evans received her degrees from Chatham University, the University of Michigan, and the Eastman School of Music (the University of Rochester), where she also earned the Performer’s Certificate. She has played recitals throughout the country.
