I have completely embraced the endless possibilities and beauty of wallcoverings in my Interior Design.
Not only do they add another level of individuality to the home but also depth and detail that cannot be accomplished with paint alone. I usually have a mixture of paint and paper in one room and often the wallcovering is the main texture or pattern within that space. It becomes part of many layers of color and texture, a background for art and furniture.

Pricing too does not have to be an issue as there are many options that are more moderately priced and add a luxurious feel without the cost. Of course the hand made papers and fabrics do get more expensive, but I believe the value and longevity far outweighs the initial investment.
