CONGRATS to Paducah Tennis Association!
Our National USTA has decided to feature Paducah Tennis Association in their CTA Spotlight!
ROUND OF APPLAUSE: Lake Cumberland Tennis Assoc. & West Louisville Tennis Club!
Several CTAs submitted their community tennis stories to USTA KY to be featured in a presentation by our Southern section! The top 2 were voted on by our Community Development Committee and it was a TIE. Southern will feature both! Click on titles below each pic to read their success stories!
SAVE THE DATE: KY Tennis Weekend 2020
The annual Community Development Workshop and USTA KY's Annual Meeting is happening Jan. 24&25th at Louisville Marriott East! This is a required training for CTAs but also a memorable weekend as we have Hall of Fame inductions and USTA KY Awards celebrations as well!
Got a junior tennis program this fall? Register it to get free equipment!
Net Generation providers are eligible for a complete equipment kit by registering their junior programs with USTA! Community Growth & Participation Grant 2020 (CGPG)
CGPG is a grant for CTAs only and is an annual, renewable grant that allows you to re-apply each year.  Awarded grants are to be used for the growth of tennis programs, with an emphasis on the promotion and operation of USTA programs.  Application and details on process to come soon! Deadline is 12/1/19
Matching Youth Tennis Equipment Grant
Our Southern section is offering an equipment matching grant that can be used toward your school’s PE class tennis equipment! A School partner could also apply if running an after school program with a school.

Buy up to $500 of equipment and our Southern Section will send another $500 worth of equipment for your after school tennis program!

USTA KY at KAHPERD convention!
The KY Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (KAHPERD) fall convention is happening Oct 13-15th in Louisville, KY at the Galt House. It is a conference for PE/Health educators and USTA KY is excited to participate with a booth and interactive session! This conference is for educators across the commonwealth, so please let us know if you'd like to share information from your area with us to have at our booth by emailing [email protected]
USTA KY at KRPS Conference
USTA KY will also be at the KY Recreation and Parks Society (KRPS) Fall Conference on Thursday November 7th. We will have an exhibitor booth and an interactive speed session. This conference will also have folks from across the state in attendance so please let us know if you'd like information shared from your community tennis programs. You can do this by emailing [email protected] the information you'd like to share!

Owensboro volunteers getting into the schools!

Sporting colorful shirts, this group of kiddos smile big from Henderson Tennis Club's (HTC) Elementary Tennis League. HTC has worked hard over the years to provide tennis opportunities to youth and has utilized several USTA grants for program and facility purposes in this endeavor.
Come out to Louisville's Chickasaw Park, Oct 11th-13th for the Play for Pink Tennis Tournament!
This is a Breast Caner Support Fundraiser to provide direct funding to those in the most need while going through treatment. Click here for flyer
Join TACK for its yearly USTA members-only Adult fall tournament, Friday-Sunday, Oct. 18-20, once again hosted by Top Seed Tennis Club.

Per your request, we've returned to the traditional format of two 6-games sets + 10-point Coman tiebreaker (if needed) for all matches.

We're accepting Men Singles/Doubles 2.5-5.0; Women Singles/Doubles 2.0-5.0; Mixed Doubles 6.0-9.0 (combined ratings). Friday matches will be played evening only, as needed. Registration is $35/Singles, $25/Doubles. Play is outdoors unless the weather turns bad!
