Fall Classes Are Underway!
The Jack Schore Tennis Fall/Winter program is off to a great start! We are very happy to see so many of our juniors and adults not taking a break from the court!
Priority Registration for the 2nd semester has begun and will continue until Dec. 7th. Most of our classes are full for session 1, so please secure your child's place today. We will hold your child's spot for the 2nd session until the Dec. 7 date. Please email Elliott to register today. The second session will begin Monday, January 14
We want all of our juniors to be USTA members! This will allow them to play tournaments, receive TENNIS Magazine, and invitations to special events! The USTA is offering FREE membership to 10 and under children. CLICK to JOIN: 10 and under USTA Membership

Welcome to Our New Staff
We are very pleased to announce two new tennis pros working with us at Jack Schore Tennis at Regency Sport & Health, Logan West and Shelby Jones.
Shelby Jones
A seasoned football, basketball and baseball player by age 8, Shelby turned his sights to tennis in his late teens.
He is a USPTR certified teaching Pro with 10 plus years of experience. Most recently a Senior Pro at East Potomac
Tennis in Washington, DC, coaching adults, teams, & juniors of all levels.
Shelby is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He was a Legislative Associate for the Motion
Picture Association of America, and founder of Urbanfilmpremiere.com. You can find Shelby teaching adults and juniors most days.
Logan West
Logan has been a part of the Jack Schore Tennis family for many years. He is currently coaching the Sidwell Friends boys and girls tennis teams.
As a junior player, Logan was personally coached by Jack and a training partner of Elliott's while they were in high school. Logan attended Sidwell Friends school, where he was a Washington Post All-Met tennis selection.
Logan was a nationally ranked junior tennis player and a four year member of the Dartmouth College tennis team. Logan is a graduate of the law school at George Washington University. You will find Logan working our junior classes each weekend.

Venus & the Washington Kastles take the Title
The Washington Kastles became the first team in major U.S. pro sports history to complete two consecutive perfect seasons by defeating the Sacramento Capitals 20-19 in a dramatic, back-and-forth WTT Finals in Charleston, S.C.
No team in 35 years of World TeamTennis had ever completed a perfect season until the Kastles improbably went 16-0 in 2011. And no one, not even those on the Washington roster, could have ever imagined that the second perfect season would come the very next year from the very same team.
Before making history, the 2012 Kastles found themselves tied with their opponents entering the final set for the second straight night.
And just as she did in the Eastern Conference Championship match on Saturday, Venus Williams won women's singles to clinch the Kastles' victory.
Washington has now won seven matches by one game during its historic 32-match winning streak, which is one victory shy of the longest winning streak in major U.S. pro sports history. The Los Angeles Lakers won 33 consecutive games during the 1971-72 NBA season.
