2025 Fall Leaf Collection

Northfield Center Township’s fall leaf collection begins Monday, October 20, 2025 (weather permitting) and continues in cycles until the final deadline of December 1, 2025. Crews will move counterclockwise through the township, starting on Oviatt Dr. and following a set route until all areas are covered.

Guidelines for Pickup:

  • Rake leaves into 3–4 ft. wide rows near the road (not in ditches or streets).
  • Keep piles clear of drains, mailboxes, hydrants, poles, rocks, and vehicles.
  • Leaves only – no sticks, grass, trash, or debris.
  • After the final round, any remaining leaves are the homeowner’s responsibility.

Issue 48 Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal)

On November 4, 2025, Northfield Center Township residents will vote on Issue 48—a renewal of the existing road and bridge levy. This is not a new tax, but a continuation that helps fund nearly half of the Township’s road projects, supporting essential maintenance and repairs for streets, roads, and bridges. Renewal of this levy ensures our Service Department can continue providing safe, reliable infrastructure for the community.
