Fall/Winter Arts Special!
Hi!

Welcome to the first installment of the Providence District Arts Special! We are so fortunate to have such a vibrant arts community right here in and around our district. My hope is to be able to share and promote their wonderful performances and opportunities with you on a regular basis. In this inaugural issue of the Providence—A Work of heART, you will find performances by local groups, visiting artists, and our very own high school students. With our arts and performing arts community working hard to recover and bring us joy this holiday season, I hope you will consider supporting and engaging in these fantastic opportunities (and I may see you at some in person myself!).

My plan is to share performances in a bi-annual basis, so please let us know if we’ve missed some that you’d like us to include in the spring/summer issue.

Let the show begin!

She's on the outs with her editor/ex-boyfriend, and he wants her to say the story is a myth to save her job. But her estranged family, her mysterious dreams, and an alluring Crypto-Jew keep pointing her inward to a surprising truth. Will Delia be able to finish her story -- not just the one she was sent to write, but her own?"

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – celebrate the holiday season with local vendors from the Fairfax area! Visit The PARC at Tysons the first 3 Saturdays of December for a pop-up shop of local artisans and small businesses offering their unique holiday-inspired goods and gifts.

On Saturday, December 18, The PARC will be transformed into a festive winter village, featuring a local holiday market, an iceless skating rink, and other snowtastic activities for the whole family to enjoy!

The Holiday Market will be located indoors. Everyone – regardless of vaccination status – will be required to wear a mask while inside all Fairfax County facilities to help stop the spread of COVID-19. This event is free and open to the public. There is no cost or registration needed to attend. Additional items, such as food, beverages, and merchandise have a cost.
