Amy Sherald: American Sublime is opening soon at the Baltimore Museum of ART. This exhibition features 40 monumental portraits of Black Americans in everyday life. American Sublime marks Amy Sherald’s return to Baltimore, where she studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art and began her career. artbma.org

MONET & VENICE at the BROOKLYN MUSEUM

Palazzo Ducale Claude Monet, 1908 Brooklyn Museum

Claude Monet produced luminous paintings of Venice in his later years. This exhibit showcases 100 works of art, including the BROOKLYN MUSEUM'S own Palazzo Ducale and The Grand Canal, Venice, from the collection of the Fine Arts Museums in San Francisco. Alongside paintings by Monet are works by other artists who also painted Venice, such as Canaletto, Signac, Sargent, and Renoir.


The Brooklyn Museum’s permanent collection ranges from world-renowned Egyptian antiquities and European masterpieces to American and contemporary art, design, and Judy Chicago’s iconic The Dinner Party.

We have great seats to see Eugene O’Neill’s Anna Christie starring the award-winning actress, Michelle Williams, and Brian D’Arcy James of Hamilton fame. Join us for a wonderful afternoon in lively DUMBO, where you will have free time to explore and have lunch on your own.
