At the Town Offices Gym
We'll have plenty of fiction, children's books, biography, history, cookbooks, sciences, social sciences, and DVDs! $2 for adult books, $1 for kids books. $5 for a whole box of books on Sunday! All proceeds help support library programs and services.

Spooky Story Contest
Our annual Spooky Story Contest is back for kids in grades K-8! The deadline to submit your story is Saturday, October 14. Visit the contest page for complete information.
You can submit your story online, or you can bring a copy to the library and feed it to the Spooky Story Monster! The winning story from each age group will be read aloud at the Spooky Story Celebration on October 28.

Technology Works at CPL!
The Chelmsford Public Library is committed to offering ongoing support to our community to grow in the digital realm. With support from the Public Library Association and AT&T, we present Technology Works, a series of classes for adults and teens to help you manage your connected life.
We will have courses available on the following topics: Computer Basics (Windows 10 or Mac OS 11); Email Basics; Cybersecurity Basics; Internet Basics; Video Conferencing Using a Mobile Device (Android or iOS); and Android and iPhone Basics

The Pop Up Library Is Out and About!
We are visiting community locations throughout Chelmsford Monday through Thursday. On Saturdays we visit the Market on the Common! We are still considering more stops for the future, please contact us if you have a suggestion!

NEW Zoom Book Group, Grades 6-8
Thursdays at 5:15 pm
Starting October 5, we will be reading Ghost, by Jason Reynolds. Each week kids will be expected to read several chapters from a chosen book. Each book will be completed over the course of several weeks. Books are available at the Circulation Desk at the Chelmsford Public Library. Each week participants will engage in discussions, games and activities related to the book that the group is reading.

NEW! Sensory Storytime
Wednesdays at 10 am
Join Ms. Marty in the McCarthy Meeting Room for a Sensory Storytime, designed for neurodivergent children and caregivers. We will read, sing, and do some sensory play activities together. In order to keep the group small, registration is required.
