Medway Public Schools is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to oversee daily operations, support drivers and staff, and ensure that every student arrives at school safely and on time.

If you’re organized, safety-minded, and eager to make a difference for our students and families, we’d love to hear from you!

MEPTO is looking for volunteers! Are you interested in helping out? Elementary volunteers are needed for various roles, including classroom yearbook photographers, room parents, Event committee leads, field day, basket raffle, Shamrock Shuffle, the Herd, Pumpkin Fair, RIF, and 4th-grade send-off.

Free meals for all Medway students! Thanks to USDA and MA funding, breakfast and lunch are free. Families, please complete the Meal Benefit Application to help sustain funding and support other programs.

We would like to inform families that Medway Public Schools is offering an optional Chromebook insurance policy that will better support students, improve our repair process, and ensure funds directly benefit our schools. Families can opt-in to the insurance program for $29 per year. Policies will cover all accidental damages. Cosmetic damage, wear & tear, power supplies, unexplained loss, and intentional damage will not be covered under this policy. Families who choose not to purchase insurance will be responsible for the full cost of parts for any repairs. If a repair is needed, they will be invoiced and have the option to purchase insurance for future claims.

Medway Public Schools has been actively working to staff all district-wide vacancies.

Be Prepared! This credentialed first-aid course teaches individuals how to respond to emergencies, including injuries, illnesses, and CPR for adults and children. Six modules cover essential skills for child care providers, teachers, coaches, parents, and individuals aged 13 and above. Class will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at Burke/Memorial Elementary School, 16 Cassidy Lane.

In this class, children learn essential safety skills for being home alone. Topics include answering the phone and door safely, Internet safety, accident prevention, fire safety, and basic first aid. The program consists of a short movie and interactive role-playing exercises. Class will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm at the Burke Memorial Elementary School, 16 Cassidy Lane.

This Saturday, October 4, 2025, is the Medway Lions Club - 33K Mass Bottle and Can Drive! Place your redeemable bottles and cans at the end of your driveway by 8:30 am. Thanks to all the Medway Lions volunteers who transform these bottles and cans into community charitable giving.

On October 4th, the Medway Police Association will be hosting the 7th Annual Medway Police Chase 5K Glow Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run Obstacle Course at the Medway Parks and Recreation building. In addition to the race, there will be a DJ, food trucks, and more glow fun! Event will be held on Saturday, October 4, starting at 6:00 pm

The Investment Advisory Committee is seeking a volunteer! We are looking for a candidate with investment experience to join the committee. Recently, the committee proposed a change in its composition—from 3 citizen-at-large members to 2. Medway's Health Department has partnered with Milford Central Pharmacy to sponsor a flu/COVID clinic this fall. The clinic will be held at the Burke Memorial School, 9 Cassidy Lane, on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Pre-registration is NOT required but recommended. (Please keep in mind that insurance information is needed.)

On Tuesday, October 7, at 1:00 pm. Dr. Randi Lebar will present an inspirational talk about the wild ride she has taken with her mother, pianist Elaine Lebar (born in 1928), She will focus on the magic and power of music in dementia. She will include the lessons she has learned along the way about finding meaning and joy despite her mother's mental decline. Call or stop by the center to sign up for this special event.

Extended Day Pen Pals: Medway Middle School students are interested in starting a bi-weekly/monthly pen pal letter writing program with seniors in Medway. This is an excellent opportunity to keep your mind sharp, meet new people, and learn new things. If any seniors are interested in being a pen pal, please call the center or sign up at the center. 

Household Hazardous Waste Day is Saturday, October 25, 2025, rain or shine, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. at the Recycling Center, 46 Broad Street. (Event is for Medway residents ONLY). Please limit your items to 25 gallons or 25 pounds. It is a free drop-off service, and all the items will be removed from your vehicle!
