Heart of Headland downtown group meets Nov 5 at The Party Place
More than 55 people attended the first Heart of Headland downtown revitalization meeting on September 6th. Trisha Black from Main Street Alabama shared valuable information about how Headland can continue to develop its downtown area. Now let's continue the conversations about “how” to make a positive impact on our community’s economy and quality of life. The second meeting of Heart of Headland will be Monday, November 5, 6pm at You Never Know's Party Place next to Misty's Salon on the square. Please come if you can and invite others too who may be interested in getting involved!

CornDodger's Farm celebrated it's Grand Opening of the Rustic Rooster concession stand. It is currently CornDodger's open season. Go out and enjoy! Look for the upcoming farmer's market and satsuma sale in November 24th.
The Headland Municipal Airport celebrated the ground breaking for the new parallel taxiway. We appreciate that our county and state representatives took the time to support our local airport.
The Making Alabama Bicentennial Exhibit ribbon cutting celebrated the historical exhibit which also included 100-year-old quilts loaned by Sherry Burkhaulter of Quilted Creations as well as other historical artifacts. Fresh squeezed lemonade, homemade teacakes and other delicious refreshments were served. Many thanks to the volunteers who helped make this event possible.
Willow Walk Subdivision celebrated its ribbon cutting in their lakeside pavilion. Willow Walk is a unique subdivision in the Headland Area community complete with lakes, walking trails and numerous neighborhood amenities. Located off County Road 49 near the Headland Country Club.
