OCTOBER 2023 Put your paws together for our newest graduating teams! This fall, we’re celebrating the newest graduating teams joining the Freedom Service Dogs family! These hardworking clients have spent the last few weeks bonding with their new furry partners, learning important dog-handling and training skills, and practicing the specialized cues that their dogs have been taught to meet their unique needs. MEET THE TEAMS >> Home & Garden Colorado If you live in Denver or happen to be visiting the area in December, we invite you to tour the 2023 Home & Garden Colorado Designer Showhouse! This timeless and architecturally significant home is located in the historic East Washington Park neighborhood and was designed with modern luxury in mind. Prepare to get inspired with bright ideas from Denver’s top interior designers and you’ll even get to meet service dogs in training! Tickets are $40 each and good for tours of the showhouse on any of the following dates: December 2-3 and 9-10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ups welcome, and proceeds benefit Freedom Service Dogs. Service dog in training Burgundy and a few of her pals had a howling good time practicing their skills during the hustle and bustle of fall festivities at the pumpkin patch.

Touchdown for FSD and the CU Buffs

Thanks to our friends at the University of Colorado Boulder, Friday the 13th was anything but bad luck! FSD staff members and a few wonderful service dogs in training attended the CU Buffaloe's football game at Folsom Field where FSD was featured at halftime for the “Small Business Spotlight,” sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
