Learn a New Skill
Join PEC's remote learning community! We have a new schedule available at pec-cares.org/digital-inclusion. Our classes are now divided into three units which will be offered on a rotating basis:
  • Daily Skills - includes internet searches, online safety, desktop and file management.
  • MS Office - includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.
  • Design and Social Media Intro - design tools, logo design, and social media.

PEC's online digital skills classes are offered five times a week. Just attend the session that best fits your schedule, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 6pm and Thursdays at 10:30am.We offer refurbished desktop computers and internet hotspots to committed learners at no cost (while supplies last). We are grateful to everyone who has joined a class! Remote learning has reached 214 adults in the past two years. We distributed 175 devices - including hotspots -- to Philadelphia residents directly or through emergency housing programs to facilitate their ability to cross the digital divide.

One of our most dedicated learners, a gentleman in his seventies, credits our teacher with helping him to fit into a society driven by rapid changes in technology. Click here to read his and other stories. You can register for classes by calling 267-777-5816,or visiting pec-cares.org/digital-inclusion .
