Fall is here and it’s perfect weather for Dinner and Wine Under the Oaks! This dinner will have 5 courses, each perfectly paired with a wine from Elizabeth Spencer Winery. The speaker will be winemaker Sarah Vandendriessche.

Our Annual Thanksgiving Buffet is open for reservations! Weather permitting, this event will be held on the front lawn with the museum as the back up plan should it rain. Reserve your table by calling our gift shop during business hours: 225-473-9380. Pre-payment is required and can be handled over the phone. Haunted Tours October 28-30

This year we want to share a few of our untold stories of staff encounters with the ghosts of Houmas House. Over the years the tour guides and night staff have detailed many firsthand experiences with the departed who wander the halls of the mansion making their presence known. Some spirits come with good intentions, and some with bad. But they are real, and we want to share these unknown stories with you!

When: October 28-30

Tour Options: 5:00, 6:00 & 7:00pm

Football season is in full swing! And we are part of the action every Saturday and Sunday. Now you can catch LSU games on Saturday nights and Saints games on Sundays- all in Dixie Cafe. A 10ft screen makes it feel like you have lower bowl seats. And a full menu and bar make you feel like you're in a suite! Join us every week all season long!

And every Friday night, Dancing in Dixie brings live music, a full menu, and so much fun.
