It's been a crazy (and great!) start to the 2019-2020 school year at MCC.

Name: Lewis O Smith Sr.

Years at MCC: 1994-1996

Degree: BS in Management and Ethics

Current City: Manhattan, KS

Family: Wife Kathy, 9 children and 18 grandchildren

Career: Retired Military Police in US Army (1973-1993), Pastor at the Manhattan First Free Methodist Church, Chaplain for the Riley Co. Police Dept.

How did MCC make a difference in your life? By being a member of the MCC family, I was encouraged to know that there was nothing I could not accomplish as long as I put God first and follow His lead. I was equipped to go out into a changing world and face my challenges with confidence and courage. As I was encouraged by my professors and classmates at MCC, I am able to encourage others in our community that are facing tough issues. My degree has opened many doors in my life. I was a Crusader and now I am a Thunder. Thank you, Manhattan Christian College, for preparing me for a rewarding future.
