FELTON INSTITUTE DAY

Celebrating 134 Years of Service

Felton Institute is a leader in providing cutting-edge services that transform people’s lives. At the heart of our work is the belief that individuals and families in crisis must have access to services and resources to help them build on their inherent strengths and develop self-sufficiency.

In 2019, San Francisco Mayor, London Breed, proclaimed October 30th, Felton Institute Day, “Felton is an important partner in making us deliver what is necessary to make San Francisco a better, more equitable place for our residents,” Mayor Breed said.

Leading with compassion and fostering successful outcomes to all we serve, Felton hosted community events that inspire. From events promoting mental health awareness, to partnering with Bay Area artists and members of the Deaf community, to hosting international delegations to showcase our cutting-edge services, Felton continues to thrive.

CROSSROADS TO HOPE (C2H) OPEN HOUSE

Activating Hope Through Housing

Felton welcomed the community to the Crossroads to Hope (C2H) Open House in Sonoma County for its ribbon-cutting ceremony!

Our featured special guest speakers included Supervisor Chris Coursey (left) and Mayor Natalie Rogers of Santa Rosa (right).

Inspiring speeches were delivered by Mental Health Services Oversight & Accountability Commission (MHSOAC) Executive Director Toby Ewing, Felton Institute CEO Al Gilbert, C2H Program Manager Shannon Wise, Felton Institute Justice Division Director Curtis Penn, and Health Services Manager Sid McColley.

Attendees got to explore the craftsman-style house and beautify the garden by planting succulents. Special thanks to our partners, as well as to our delicious catering by @alaheartkitchen.

Activating hope through housing, Crossroads to Hope (C2H) provides 6-month housing residencies, on-site case management services, and programming for individuals with justice-involved and mental health backgrounds. We strive to help residents build a support network, access community resources, and establish long-term stable housing.

We strive to help residents build a support network, access communities, resources, and establish long-term stable housing.
