CardValet can Save the Day!

It's 10 PM, do you know where your debit card is?
In this modern day and age, we rely more and more on our debit cards to pay bills, buy groceries and treat ourselves to the movies; but debit card fraud is on the rise. Did you know we offer a financial tool within our Mobile Banking called "CardValet" that allows you more control on your debit card transactions?
With CardValet you have the power to monitor and control your debit card transactions by:
- Turning the card on and off - If you ever lose or temporarily misplace your card, you can simply turn it off (temporarily or permanently) so that no transactions will be processed,
- Setting limits on the dollar amount and locations of transactions,
- Restricting transactions to allow only those within a specified geographic area relative to the location of your phone.
Additionally, this can be a card management tool for all debit cards that the account owner has authorized; for a debit card provided to a child by the parent (account owner), or for employers (account owner) on employee-issued cards!

| Financial Literacy: Students working part-time jobs |

Financial Literacy should be an ongoing effort in each home, and we are here to help you get on track (or get back on track, if needed). If this is the first job for your child/children to have a job then visit us today to inquire about opening a Youth Savings account for your child and we would be honored to speak to you/your children about our Financial Literacy Program-which is for all ages, and will explain the importance of financial responsibility.

| Fall Recipes: |
|
Apple Butter Pie:
Preheat Oven to 375
Beat together:
2 large eggs
Then add:
1/2 cup apple butter (Store-bought is fine)
1/2 cup white sugar
2 cups whole milk (must be whole, or it won't set)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Pour mixture into pie crust (frozen is fine) and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 60-65 minutes. When you take it out of the oven the center will jiggle a little, but a toothpick should come out clean. Cool until it has set and then place in fridge until ready to serve.
Top with whipped cream of choice, it's especially good with almond-flavored whipped cream.
