National Family Literacy Month

Live Oak Public Libraries encourages lifelong learning for all ages. Visit your library to find interesting books and engaging programs, like Music & Movement, an interactive literacy skills program that includes parents/caregivers. Johnny Mercer: The Television Years

Join us to celebrate the 110th birthday of Johnny Mercer, Savannah's own "musical ambassador to the world". The program will feature videos of Johnny's first appearances on TV performing his own songs and other hits.

1,000 Books B4 Kindergarten

1,000 Books B4 Kindergarten is a fun and easy free program that will help your child develop valuable skills and discover a love of books! Research shows that reading books and sharing stories are two of the best ways to help children develop the language skills they need to enter school ready to learn.
