Fall Is Here And So Are Pansies

Summer flowers often look their best in August and September, but with the recent rain and cooler temperatures, their season will soon come to an end. That means it’s time for one of our favorite fall transitions—the change from summer annuals to pansies and fall seasonal color.

Flowers are one of the most fun and rewarding parts of landscape maintenance. Our teams get to be designers—planning new combinations, creating displays, planting, and then carefully nurturing them as they become established.

By July and August, those summer plantings have reached their peak, and we all get to enjoy the results of the planning and care that went into them.

Now, we get to start all over again with fall!

Our program includes biological disease-prevention treatments in the greenhouse, fresh potting soil at fall planting, fungicide treatment at installation, and continued monthly treatments throughout the winter.

These additional steps increase the investment required for seasonal color, but experience has shown us they are essential to keeping pansies healthy and performing their best through challenging winter conditions. That’s why we’ve built them into our standard program.

We’re always a little sorry to see summer color go, but we’re excited to begin another season of pansies and bring beautiful color to our clients’ properties throughout the cooler.
