Hey, Waiting Families!  We are proud to partner with Brittany’s Hope, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to aiding and facilitating adoptions of special needs children from around the world. Brittany’s Hope recognizes the fundamental rights of all children. They empower families and communities to make real and lasting change in the lives of orphaned and at-risk children through international special needs adoption grants and humanitarian initiatives. We are honored to call them our partner!  Brittany’s Hope has awarded MAA with a grant allotment this past July, which we must grant out by the end of December! They entrust us to provide this money to our families who truly need it, and we are humbled to do so. We review applications on a rolling basis, so if you have pre-approval for a specific child AND are home study ready, please get your application in! PA Families, We Need You! Check out the FREE Pennsylvania Post Permanency Virtual Support Group and/or Virtual Book Club if you are a family who is either actively receiving post perm services or willing to call SWAN for the support group unit. We need at least two PA families registered in order to allow families in other states to join. We would love every family in attendance, we just need the PA families to kickstart! Virtual Support Group: Join our monthly virtual Adoptive Parents Support Group on Tuesday evenings or Thursday afternoons! Come meet other adoptive parents to learn from one another, share your experiences, and receive encouragement. These families arrived home in September! We are thrilled to welcome our first Thailand program family home with their new daughter! After months of paperwork and waiting, the family is happily home (albeit tired) and settling in with their newest family member. Welcome HOME!!
