Fall Friendly Activities Along the Byway

A journey along the White Pass Scenic Byway offers up an abundance of opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreation before the winter snowfall sets in. Consider mushroom hunting in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest or kayaking on Dog Lake. Maybe rafting the Tieton River, or  taking a hike from Ohanapecosh Visitor Center to the Grove of the Patriarchs. You will discover some of the best places for quiet, peaceful tranquility during the the dog days of autumn. A drive to Mt. Saint Helens at Windy Ridge can be a spectacular Sunday outing. Better yet, find a place to stay and make it a weekend adventure. We have lots of accommodations where you can relax with friends and family.  Pet friendly options and kid friendly vacation rentals make this the perfect outing away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. You will want to return every season of the year.
