WATCH FOR YTD STATS IN OCTOBER NEWSLETTER!
At least that is what our calendars say. How did this Happen? SEPTEMBER….Wow “summer just blew by” & now we are facing fall, but before I share with you, why Kerry is so surprised about the disappearance of a whole season…I must say that A LOT has happened in my life…. but before (Read on😊) I do, I hope, however, that you enjoyed the summer in the mountains & had a blast.
This is the most colorful time “up here” & the visual cascade of colors throughout our beautiful county is a loud ring: Yes, Winter & snow season is close. So before we hit the slopes, let’s all take advantage of the last warm days & hit the trails, dress layers, sharpen our skis, find the puffies & beanies and dig out the winter gear. Plan your beach getaway in February! See the end..for my favorites..what are yours?
Speaking of snow: Ski areas are announcing opening dates! Do you have your Epic or “Icon” on your smart phone? What about your Arapahoe Basin passes? Join. me at Sunlight?
Kerry's next adventure:
I will be moving to Glenwood at the end of September.
I will continue my professional "life" with a firm in Carbondale. Watch for the official announcement! My email address & contact information will remain the same.
I believe this will be a welcome change!
Home base will be Glenwood Springs, with Summit as my (second home). I am happy to continue as your REALTOR in Summit County and NOW Glenwood Springs as well as surrounding areas..think Carbondale, Basalt and Aspen.
I am keen to head into next act in a life that has been rewarding, both professionally and personally.
Thank you for all your support during my 35+ years as a Realtor, as I expand my market. I will be a member of Altitude Realtors (Summit and Routt County). I will now add the areas Glenwood Springs (Garfield County--Carbondale, Basalt). Aspen as well, in Pitkin County.
I look forward to helping you make your Mountain Dreams come true! Yes Glenwood has the Elk Range (Mt Sopris) all part of the Rocky Mountains.
Meanwhile, I would like to share some of some FAVORITE LEAF PEEPING HOTSPOTS with you. No complete list, just a little inspiration to get you to ponder that it’s “now or never” for that! 😊
Stunning colors can be found throughout our mountains in and around Summit County.
Georgetown: Guanella Pass..
Fairplay.. Take Hoosier Pass to Breckenridge.
Dillon/Silverthorne, north to Kremming..sprawling Ranch Country.
Montezuma: Head to this small mountain town & watch the Beavers Build their winter home on the way.
Minturn: Tennessee Pass with a stop at Holy Toledo.
Vail Pass: Great place for a Bike ride!
I will discover more (in the Glenwood area) with the September 2025 market update.
And then there are places to go & explore, off the beaten path. What are your "favs" for "for leaf peeping"?
Things to see, touch, stuff to buy, foods to eat! Why go to the same place all the time? Let’s shake it up!
Montezuma is another place that’s tucked away! Beautiful trails, stunning views, Beaver Ponds & the Snake River. Drive on up, take your hiking boots & your camera and take it all in.
SOME SUGGESTED STOPS:
** Magianos’s Italian Market in Minturn
**Georgetown..Andersens General Store—in the family for 50 years or more, stop on in!
**Glenwood Springs: Hot Springs of course, check out the new addition to enhance the experience!
**Montezuma..Stop at River Run in Keystone..have a coffee at Steep or the Inxspot! Great coffee!
I will continue to help your Mountain Dreams come true! Yes Glenwood has mountains (just different than those in Summit). Think--Mt Sopris, a twin-summit in the northwestern Elk Mountains.
