Greetings!
According to Chinese medicine, the season of autumn is associated with the Metal element which corresponds to the Lung organ.  The lungs control the circulation of the "Wei-Qi", which is the body's defensive Qi that protects you from the invasion of flu and colds.  It is also associated with the emotions of "letting go"; for example, those who find it difficult to let go of the summer.

 

With the change in weather, our bodies' defensive qi weakens thus making it easier to catch the flu & cold bug.  Acupuncture is a safe and effective, drug-free option to not only treat the common cold & flu but also to boost your immune system in prevention of catching these bugs.

I will be away from October 4 - 10, 2012 returning Thursday, October 11.  I will have limited access to email only during this time.

My clinic hours are as follows:

Mondays 9:30am - 1:30pm
Wednesdays 12:30pm - 6:30pm
Thursdays 2:30pm - 6:30pm

Tuesdays 10am - 6pm
