Parent & Kids Corner
Parents,

This week we continued discussing God giving us Mercy. We focused on Solomon and when he built the temple. We discussed what a temple was and what was done there, and then we were able to compare the Israelites visiting the temple to us going to church.

Throughout the week review our story with your children by using the following questions.

  1. What was God’s promise to Solomon?
  2. What was happening while the ark of God was being removed?
  3. What caused the people to rejoice?

Have a great week!
~Ms. Heidi

QR Code
A Link to Sunday Worship, Connection Cards and More!
By now, you should have heard Fr. Ron mention our QR Code. This crazy looking block is designed to make it easier to find out information all from simply opening your camera, aiming and clicking.
Here are a couple of pointers: Open your camera on your phone or tablet. Aim towards the QR code. Do not take a picture. Instead, as you focus on the QR code a block will pop up asking if you want to go to our website. Click on that block and it will take you a page on our website. This page has links to all you need for Sunday worship, including your Connection Card. This page is available at all times, (however the Connection Card is closed for submission at the end of the day on Sunday), information is updated weekly by Thursday afternoon.

Daily Worship
The Trinity Mission works to make ancient Christian formation more accessible to the modern believer. Since January 1st, 2013 we have been providing the Audio Daily Office and other prayer podcasts. We also offer various print resources for use in the home as well as online and print resources for local parishes to use in their work of forming their community around a habit of daily prayer and meditation on the Scriptures.

About the Church of the Resurrection

The Church of the Resurrection (COR) is a church community whose life is centered in Jesus Christ and whose identity is shaped by the Word of God. We trace our history to the New Testament church, but our local life began, when our church was founded. By tradition a part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, The Church of the Resurrection (COR) belongs to the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina. We worship God together as a church family using forms of worship that are both traditional and contemporary, always in conformity to Anglican standards in the historic Book of Common Prayer. We are, first and foremost, followers of Jesus Christ.
