Our Story is Better With You In It

What a spook-tacular season it’s been! Our Ghost Tour at the Library was so fun, and we are grateful to everyone who joined us for the chills and thrills. As much as we loved this chapter, we’re excited for what the next one holds here at the library. Your feedback helps us make every year even better, so if you’d like to share your thoughts and ideas to improve next year’s Ghost Tour, please click the button below, your voice matters!

As the seasons shift and the weather cools, remember to stay connected with us through our website and social media pages for any updates, inclement weather notices, or schedule changes.

Most of all, we want to say thank you; to our patrons, volunteers, our community, and everyone who makes this library feel like home. We are so thankful for you. Whether you’re stopping by to stay snug and warm, explore a new book, or join a free program, the library is always here to be a welcoming place for learning, fun, and connection.

Here’s to a season full of stories, community, and gratitude.

Books and Brew Book Club

This month, our Adult Book Club is switching things up with a lighter, heart-warming read! Join us as we dive into The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo: a charming story full of adventure, bravery, and heart. We’ll meet on November 17th at 4:30 PM for discussion, laughs, and good company.

Want to share a favorite fall soup? Feel free to bring a pot for others to sample, if not, just bring yourself! We can’t wait for an evening of cozy conversation and community.

Also, we have extra copies at the library you're welcome to come and pick up!

Children and Tweens

For our youngest patrons a trip to the library is one of the best ways to fill your autumn with fun, educational or creative events! As usual, you can swing by weekly to play Minecraft on Mondays with other children in the library, dance and listen to stories for Toddler Time on Tuesdays or swing by after school for Lego Club or Virtual Reality.

Also, we are excited to return to having more StoryCrafts where your kiddo can make a craft and listen to a story at the same time! We will be making fall paper lanterns this month. No registration required and can be scaled for various ages.

Teens

Teen nights are still going strong! Join us for crafts, scrapbooking, journaling, or movie nights with friends. Want to get more involved? Our Teen Advisory Board is a great way to meet new people, help plan events, and earn community service hours. Come hang out, create something cool, and make the library your space!
