Public Library and DUSD Partnership
This is a great service for our community in which students can check out eBooks from the Alameda County Public Library using their school authentication (even without a library card). Learn more here.
Student Attendance for Advisory, Small Group Intervention and Flex Time
This is a reminder about attendance during Advisory, Small Group Intervention and Flex Time. These periods are designed to provide additional support for students and it’s critical they attend as detailed below.
Advisory Period: Student attendance is required. The focus is on social emotional learning and school wide efforts.
Flex Period: students are required to attend each Flex Time period to check in with their teacher. Their teacher will let them know within the first part of class whether their attendance is required for the entire period.
Small Group Intervention: Students are required to attend based on teacher direction. If a student doesn’t attend SGI, the students will be working asynchronously.
If a student doesn’t attend as expected, you can expect staff follow up by a teacher, counselor and/or administrator.
Make-ups for Materials Distribution:
If you were unable to attend materials distribution on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, please use this link to sign-up for a time to pick up materials.
The final issuance of science consumable materials arrived late, and as a result, we will schedule a new pick up date. In the meantime, students are not impacted by this because these materials are not needed yet.
