Super Kids-Super Sharing
Our school is helping to make a difference in the lives of local children this Super Bowl season. We've teamed up with the National Football League, the Oakland Raiders, the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee, Verizon and Alameda Recreation and Park Department for a project called SUPER KIDS - SUPER SHARING. We are collecting gently used or new books, sports equipment and school supplies that will be passed along to local children and schools in need. Cell phones that are no longer being used are also being collected and will benefit shelters and domestic violence organizations through Verizon's HopeLine program.
YOU CAN HELP! Bring your gently used or new items to your student's PE teacher and they will be placed in the collection box. Books of all reading levels and all types of sports equipment, school supplies and cell phones are needed. Catch the Super Bowl spirit and join us as we help children in our community. Donations are due on January 20.
