Parent Input on 8th-Grade Promotion Activities
With the end of the first semester upon us and 2018 right around the corner, we are             beginning to turn our attention to spring activities and events. The culminating event of         the year is 8th-grade promotion, which will be held on Friday, June 1st. Monday                   evening (12/11) at the Fallon PFC meeting Principal Sweeney will gather parent input             about the time and location for the promotion ceremony, as well as discussing other             year-end activities. The PFC meeting begins at 6:30 in the Fallon library. The  discussion       of 8th-grade activities will be the final item on our agenda, and the school expects to             send out an online survey in the event you are not able to attend the meeting.

Holiday Food Drive
As part of the holiday celebrations, Fallon will be rolling out the barrels for its Annual             Holiday Food Drive. Fallon students will help make a big difference to Alameda County           families in need. There will again be a contest between AP classes. For more information,       please click here.

Library Closure
Fallon's library will be closed from Monday, December 11th to Friday, December 15th and      again from Tuesday, January 16th through Friday, January 19th. Please make sure to            note the dates as students will not be allowed access prior to school or after school.              Thanks!

Affirmation Station
This is a place to affirm our Fallon teachers and staff!  Think of it as a communication           board where you can send a positive message to someone for support or                             encouragement.
Why should we affirm Fallon teachers and staff?
Not only are affirmations beneficial, but they make a huge difference in how our school         functions as a whole.
Positive affirmations support a classroom environment that fosters perseverance, self-           reflections and positivity.
It is an important aspect of creating a positive culture at our school and within our                 classrooms.
Next time you are in our office, please consider writing an affirmation to someone special!
