Valentine Grams Information
Valentine Grams ($2) and Roses ($1) will be sold at the Mustang Store before and after school, and at the MPR during lunch, from Monday through Thursday.
They will be delivered Friday during 1st period.
8th Grade Events
8th Grade End of the Year Dance
Calling all Fallon parents to come and join the Dance Committee. Although 8th grade parents are not allowed to chaperone please consider helping the PFC make this event a memorable one for your student.
Interested parents please join us at the upcoming Dance Committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30 pm at the Fallon Library.
The 8th Grade Black and White dance will
be a themed night of celebration for your student and will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Shannon Community Center in Dublin.

Everyone who wants to come to the dance needs to have the bottom part of this permission slip filled out and signed. The signed forms can be dropped off at the student support desk by Friday April 29th.
Even if you think you have paid during Fall check in, the permissions slips have to be turned in.
Baby Ads for Yearbook
Baby Ads have been extended. There are only 15 spots left for 8th grade baby ads. The ads are due Feb.15.Please see the attached flyerfor more information.
Dublin High School is holding their Future Freshman Open House on
March 2nd for 8th grade parents and their students. The evening begins at 6:30pm in the Sports Complex and will be followed by classroom visits. Make sure to "SAVE THE DATE"!
8th Grade End of Year Field Trip
Thank you to parents of 8th-graders for returning the "intent to participate" forms for the end-of-year field trip. Based on the number of students who expressed interest, the school will develop a budget and work with the Associated Student Body and PFC to raise necessary funds. If you have not yet had a chance to donate to this event, please see Mrs. Armanuse in the Fallon office.

A call to action for our community
We are asking for our community's help to "move the needle" in the important discussion of the state's participation in school facilities funding.

February 17. We are asking community members not to mail them. We would like to collect them and deliver them to the state in a large stack. Our Assemblymember Catharine Baker has offered to walk them to the Governor's Office with our Board President.

Dance Chaperones Needed
Fallon-tine dance is coming up!!! We still need one more volunteer for the upcoming dance (2/12). Parent and staff supervision ensures that all students have a fun and safe time at school dances. Please volunteer to chaperone at least one school dance during your child's three years at Fallon. Failure to secure a sufficient number of parent chaperones may result in cancellation of future events. Please check the following Sign-up Genius link to sign up as chaperones for various dance events organized by the school.

Fallon Speech & Debate is a parent volunteer-led after school enrichment program for Fallon students who are interested in speech and debate. We are seeking parent coaches who can coach a group of 10 students each on Wednesdays
2:30PM to 3:30PM.

Alameda County Science & Engineering Fair Information
The Alameda County Science and Engineering Fair is March 11-13. It is not too late to register. You can find details at acsef.org.
Mrs. Brown is offering to guide students on their projects and presentations. Students who are interested in entering either a science or engineering project should sign up for Mrs. Brown's Google Classroom using their school email and the class code kwmh4 for tips and current information.
