Important Information for Families Regarding the Start of the 2016/2017 School Year
It is our expectation that our students will be in class on the first day of the 2016-17 school year. However, we realize that a small number of families may have made plans that cannot be changed to accommodate the earlier start to the school year.
If your family has unchangeable plans and your student(s) will not be in class on August 15.
and return it to your school site by April 1. School sites will need to be informed of these circumstances in advance. If you have questions, please contact the Student Services Department at the district office or your school site administration.

English Mid-Year Progress Testing
All Dublin middle school students will be participating in mid-year progress testing on Monday and Tuesday this week. This test will help teachers understand which skills students need to focus on in preparation for state testing in May. Part of the test requires students to listen to short audio clips and respond. If you own a set of earbuds (like those used with cell phones), please have your child bring them to school on Monday and Tuesday. Please do NOT allow them to bring expensive headphones. There is no need to purchase earbuds if you do not already own them. The school will provide headphones to students who do not bring earbuds with them
