The Dublin Unified Board of Trustees is holding a community outreach meeting
to hear from the community as they begin the search for the new superintendent

Students and families will be treated to views of beautiful objects in the night sky with telescopes kindly provided by the MDAS on March 31st, 7.30-9pm.
This is a family event where parents/adults are expected to remain with the students at all times. Kindly remember that this is not a drop off event.

Fallon Chess Club News
Congratulations to the Fallon Chess Society (FCS). In their first state tournament FCS took home TWO first place team trophies and a 5th place team trophy! The players also took home numerous individual trophies (vs. nearly 1,000 other players). Click here to see the full Facebook album.
Spirit Week Significance
Monday 3/28: Wear Cultural clothing to represent we are all different.
Tuesday 3/29: Wear two different shoes, which shows wearing someone else's
shoes can be challenging.
Wednesday 3/30: Wear clothes inside out to show words hurt more on the inside than the outside.
Thursday 3/31: Being nice is no sweat so wear sweatpants and shirts.
Friday 4/1: Wear FMS clothing to show we are united against bullying.

This is an admission free event, on April 23rd (9am-1pm) with vision, dental and blood pressure screenings provided, that are also free and available to all ages. TDAP and other vaccines are also available so this is a great opportunity for all current 6th graders to get their TDAP completed.
Remember, 7th graders may not attend school if they have not completed the TDAP immunization. This event is open to the entire Dublin community. Please see this flyer for more information.
Important Information for Families Regarding the Start of the 2016/2017 School Year
It is our expectation that our students will be in class on the first day of the 2016-17 school year. However, we realize that a small number of families may have made plans that cannot be changed to accommodate the earlier start to the school year.
If your family has unchangeable plans and your student(s) will not be in class on August 15.

hereand return it to your school site by April 1. School sites will need to be informed of these circumstances in advance. If you have questions, please contact the Student Services Department at the district office or your school site administration.

Fundraisers for the 8th Grade Six Flags Trip
Mustache Mike's Fundaiser
We will be having Mustache Mike's come onto campus every Wednesday (weather permitting) starting next week for the next several weeks - perhaps until the end of the year. Proceeds will benefit the 8th grade trip to 6 Flags at the end of this year. Please see the attached flyer.
BJ's Dine-out Fundraiser
We are confirmed for a fundraiser at BJ's Restaurant on
April 21st, 4pm-11pm to benefit the 8th Grade Trip to Six Flags. The
event flyer is here.
We will have another fundraiser with Chipotle on
May 19th, 5pm-9pm they will give back 50% to the school. Please check out the times and other details
