Fallon Astronomy Night

Please mark your calendar for the Astronomy Night on March 30. Please see the flyer
for more information.  All flashlights must be covered in red paper or red gel paper to protect night vision. We will have the red gel paper on hand to help cover the flash lights.
CJSF will be selling Cup O' Noodles, hot cocoa and other snacks to raise money.

District Annual Recognition Event

Congratulations to Fallon PFC Director of Enrichment, Lindy Chia, who will be honored at the Annual District Recognition Event on March 28th at 4:00pm in the District Board Room.

District Retirement Social

Mr. Lee Carpenter is retiring at the end of this school year 06/02/17. He has worked for 38 years, 30 in DUSD, 18 at DHS and 12 at Fallon. There will be a retirement social at the DHS Student Union, 5/30, 6:00-8:00pm.

DHS School Site Council

The DHS SSC will have an opening for one parent seat next year, and wishes to consider as many candidates as possible who might be interested in serving. Any current parent (or parent of an incoming freshman) may submit a short statement of interest to Brad Vereen at by March 30. Beginning on or about March 31, DHS SSC will conduct an online survey that will serve as a vote for the candidates. Parents of incoming freshmen and current DHS parents are eligible to vote.

Fallon Enrichment News

Fallon MathCounts
Fallon Mathcounts came in 8th out of 37 teams in the Mathcounts NorCal State competition on 3/18! NorCal States is one of the toughest Mathcounts State competitions in the USA. This is the first time Fallon has ever made it into the state round, and Kevin Wang came in 6th in the individual rankings and 4th in the Countdown Round! Congratulations to the Fallon Mathcounts team for this amazing achievement!

Fallon Math Olympiads

Training for Math Games begins this week on  Wednesday 3/29.  This is only for students who have been informed that they were selected to participate in the Math Games. Students who did not sign up to participate in Math Games, or signed up but were wait listed, should NOT attend this training. We will notify students on the wait list if any spot opens up in the coming weeks.

All Math Olympiads students and families are invited to attend the 4th Annual Fallon Math Olympiad Awards Night and Math Games on  Friday, May 12 at 6pm.

CJSF Benefit Concert
Fallon Orchestra is performing a concert for the benefit of UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital at Fallon School MPR on Thursday April 13th at 6:30pm. Please see more information here.
Multi Cultural Evening Information

PFC is hosting a Family Multicultural Festival on Wednesday, April 12, from 6-8pm.

Review of Fallon PFC By-Laws

The Fallon PFC Board has conducted a review of the organization's by-laws and is recommending several amendments to the general membership.

Eighth Grade Information

Promotion Dance
Your student will be coming home with an invitation and permission slip for the 8th grade promotion dance to be held May 20, 2017 at Dublin High School in the Student Union from 7-10pm. The cost is $25.  This dance is sponsored by the Fallon PFC rather than the school, so the "All Dance Pass" cannot be used for this dance.  Please turn in the permission slip and pay by April 21, 2017  so the committee can budget accordingly.

T-dap Requirements for incoming 7th graders

Incoming 7th graders must show proof of having received the T-dap booster immunization. Incoming 7th grade students who do not show proof will be excluded from school until such proof is received.  In order to expedite the Fall check in process, all proof must be submitted to the Fallon Health Office on or before May 1, 2017.
