Mustang Roundup-Thanks

      The Mustang Roundup was a success. The community came together and enjoyed the           food, basketball game, carnival games and Bollywood dancing. We couldn't have                   accomplished it without the support of all you. Below is a list of those who took their             time to support MRU:

National Bullying Prevention Month

October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month.
BULLYING is intentional aggressive behaviour,repeated over time that involves an imbalance of power. It can be physical, verbal, relational or social and includes cyberbullying. Bullying and bullying-type behaviour is not cool. So, what is cool? Kindness. Be kind to one another. And if you SEE SOMETHING? SAY SOMETHING. Be an upstander. Monday, October 3rd, is the Eighth
STOMP Out Bullying, the leading national anti-bullying and cyberbullying prevention organization for kids and teens, created BLUE SHIRT DAY® WORLD DAY OF BULLYING PREVENTION™ to signify the importance of National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month each October. It's a perfect day to wear your "Dude Be Nice" shirt!
The collective efforts of EVERYONE is so important to raise awareness to make the day that bullying prevention is heard around the world. Join us and
wear BLUE this Monday.

Dublin School Board Candidates Forum

      OneDublin.org, a volunteer organization committed to celebrating education excellence,         will be holding a Dublin Unified School District Candidates Forum on Wednesday                   October  5th beginning at 7pm (doors open 6:30pm).

Band Fundraiser

The Fallon Mustang Band kicked off their Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Fundraiser Tuesday, 9/27.  It runs through Tuesday, 10/11.  Funds collected support Fallon Band activities, such as, the April 2017 Southern California competitions and bus transportation to the spring band review competitions.

Basketball Coaches needed

Girls basketball will be starting the third week in October. We currently have a returning 8th grade coach, but we still need coaches for the 7th grade and 6th grade teams. The season is 6-8 weeks long and a stipend is offered. If you are interested please contact the Assistant Principal Ed Jackson.

PFC Enrichment Programs

If your student has signed up for more than one enrichment program, please read these important FAQs .

PFC guidelines on participation in multiple enrichment programs. 
Due to the overwhelming number of students who want to join enrichment programs, and the limited number of spaces available, students who meet the qualifications for more than one enrichment program may be asked by the PFC Enrichment Committee to select their top choice and open a space for another student if there are waiting lists in some programs. This does not apply to programs that do not have a waiting list.

Brings Home Gold from the 2016 Paralympic Games

Congratulations to Bethany Zummo, a Fallon alumnus and daughter of Assistant Principal, Mrs. Kelly Zummo, for winning the  gold medal in sitting Volleyball at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio. Here is her  interview  with Onedublin.org.
