Hello! I’m so pleased to have this opportunity to share with you Fallon Health’s people-first mindset and what that means for the member experience.
From our beginnings—when Fallon Health saw a need and became the first health plan in the U.S. to offer a Medicare Advantage plan—to today, everything we’ve done has been centered on the people we serve.
Improving health and inspiring hope is our mission statement—and it’s our culture. It guides what we do as a health plan and provider of care, an employer, and a community and business partner.
You’ve likely heard about Fallon Health’s commitment to providing care and coverage that goes further. I’d like to share with you some examples of how we do that.
We make sure our members have the care they need, where and when they need it.
- Our team is here to assist members with scheduling appointments, selecting a primary care provider (PCP), and making sure they understand and use their benefits.
- Certain prescription medications can be expensive, so we offer a savings program that lets members know when lower-cost options are available. We can also help members access their prescriptions, if they’re having trouble.
When we see a need, we act.
- In October, we were the first in Southeastern Massachusetts to open a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
- When several NaviCare® members in Fall River were displaced by a devastating fire last July, members of our clinical team secured emergency housing, replaced critical medical and mobility equipment, recovered personal items, and offered steady emotional support.
We’re here to help.
- We have dedicated phone lines for members, brokers, providers, and partners (see below).
- When you or your clients call us, you’ll speak with a real person—not a computer—who is dedicated to working with you to get the service you need, when you need it.
Simply put: Care is what we believe in. It’s who we are and who we’ve always been.
We look forward to supporting new Fallon Health members and continuing to assist those who renewed their coverage.
Sincerely,
|
