Taking the time to be thankful
This time of year can take a lot out of me. With the end of Medicare’s Annual Election Period coinciding with the start of the holiday season, it feels like there is always something to do, whether at home or in the office. I’m guessing you feel the same.

That’s why it’s so important to stop and think about all of the things to be thankful for— family, friends and all the good things in life. I’m thankful for all of those things, and I’m also thankful to all of you for your partnership.

Fallon is a special place to work. Our culture is truly one of caring—for members and also for each other. I guess that’s what happens when a group of people come together with a shared commitment to providing better health care and better coverage to everyone we serve. I feel lucky to work with my colleagues at Fallon, who are always willing to go above and beyond to be helpful to our members, providers and brokers.

I hope you were able to enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family. On behalf of the entire Fallon family, I wish you a very happy holiday season.

AEP is coming to an end
Medicare’s Annual Election Period is ending on Dec. 7. You will have until that date to submit any new enrollments to us. As long as they are received by end of business on that date, we will be able to process them. You can submit enrollments at https://fallon.sunfirematrix.com/app/agent/fchp or, if you have paper applications, you can fax them to us at 1-508-757-0572 or email them to MedicareSalesBrokers@fallonhealth.org.
Medicare Supplement options for Freedom members
Effective Jan. 1, 2022, Fallon Medicare Plus Freedom will no longer be available. This means that current members of Freedom will need to choose another way to get their Medicare coverage. The good news is that Fallon offers individual Medicare Supplement plans that work similarly to Freedom.

With our Fallon Medicare Plus Supplement plans, members have the freedom to see who they want to see, when they want to see them. With no network restrictions, members have access to any provider that accepts Medicare. These plans provide medical coverage for covered services at $0 after the Medicare Part A and/or Part B deductible is met. Our Medicare Supplement members also get:
  • One routine eye exam plus $150 toward a pair of eyeglasses or contact lenses per calendar year.
  • A free gym membership with SilverSneakers®, which provides access to fitness equipment, group exercise classes and more at locations nationwide. Plus, members can participate in LIVE virtual classes and On-Demand™ 24/7 workout videos.

Fallon also offers our employer group HMO plan, Fallon Medicare Plus Premier HMO as well as our direct-to-consumer HMO plans.
