What you choose to do makes a difference!
Our youth meet once a month on Zoom for conversation and a class. In April, we talked about Earth Day and Creation Care, and brainstormed little ways we can help our planet. Once we're back in church, don't be surprised to see if there are some small changes, thanks to our youth!
Meanwhile, they came up with this list of
Ten Reasons to Care About Creation: because -
1 God created everything with a purpose.
2 We can! We need to try.
3 We shouldn't take advantage of what we have; we need to consider future generations.
4 As God said: It is good.
5 It is now one of our Baptismal Covenants, to cherish all which God has created.
6 God's plan has placed us in creation.
7 We are full of wonder, and what God has created is wonderful.
8 The world is intended to be beautiful for us, and we are given responsibilities.
9 God's creation has brought us together, to love one another.
10 To love the earth is to love God.
