Families First Coronavirus Response Act: Employee Paid Leave Summary
The United States Congress passed and the president signed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act several days ago. This bill contains mandatory sick leave provisions for employers under 500 employees. At the association, we have received many questions regarding the application of these leave provisions. The US Department of Labor has issued summary documents, for both employers and employees, that will be helpful in understanding the leave provisions of the bill.
