First and foremost—our thoughts are with you, your families and everyone throughout the world who has been affected by COVID-19. As we navigate through this rapidly changing situation, please know the families we serve, our employees and you continue to be our top priorities.
Kansas Children’s Service League’s (KCSL) families
need us now more than ever
, and our staff is doing the necessary work in innovative ways by:
- Contacting enrolled families daily via phone/online platforms;
- Providing curriculum and activities for children and parents virtually;
- Offering private group chats for parent support groups; and
- Delivering diapers, wipes, formula and other supplies as available via doorstep drop-off.
But there’s still more we can do. We are witnessing struggling parents being pushed closer to the edge with their work schedules disrupted and children home from school. Some compounding issues include the lack of available and affordable child care, accessible health insurance and the hit to the economy resulting in record-high unemployment claims every day.
KCSL is committed to navigating this new landscape,
and you can help Kansas children and families during these uncertain times
. YOU can make a difference.
KCSL continues to provide necessary supports and services for families to create stronger, safer communities for children.
