Theme: "Learn Along" Bingo Shapes in Our Community
Welcome to "Learn Along" Bingo with PBS Kids! This week, we're learning about how identifying shape attributes helps us to see how shapes are similar and different. What do you notice about different shapes? How many sides and corners does the shape have? Is the shape opened or closed? Does the shape have curves or is it just made up of straight lines?
Two age level areas are available – PreK-K and Grades 1-2.
PreK-K
Using this week’s activity packet learn about shapes around you. Maybe go on a scavenger hunt for shapes around the house, or try to solve the Big Tree Problem with Peg & Cat.

Grades 1-2
Check out this variety of shapes activities from Odd Squad, Cyberchase and Ruff Ruffman. Did you solve the Hexagon Challenge or create a Tangram Puzzle with Odd Squad?
Fall Leaf Suncatcher

It’s autumn and leaves are turning color before they fall. Use this Fall Leaf Suncatcher craft suggestion to make your own window of falling leaf shapes.

Peanut Butter Cookie
Make this easy circle shaped after-school snack from America’s Test Kitchen Young Chefs’ Club.  Print out the recipe, then collect the four ingredients you will need.. Mix in a bowl & bake. Make sure to have adult help using the oven.
Did you use M&M’s or Reese's Pieces?
Signs of Fall
