Theme: Being a Good Friend and Neighbor
Welcome to family activities with PBS Kids! Summer break is here, what better time to some explore new activities.
Two age level areas are available – PreK-K and Grades 1-2.
PreK-K
There are lots of things kids can do to celebrate neighbors and friends. Find many fun activities in this collection focusing on Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger, and Clifford.

       Sesame Street
Surprise friends and family members with these handmade coupons from Sesame Street. They are redeemable for a song, joke, hug, or something special. Who did you give them to?
Grades 1-2
This Friends and Neighbors collection will help children learn about their role in their family and the community. Choose activities from Arthur, Xavier Riddle, Odd Squad, and Word Girl.

    Candy-Coated Confetti Popcorn
It’s fun to share with friends. And everyone loves to share tasty foods. This salty and sweet candy-coated popcorn recipe is perfect for a quick snack. Make some for a friend, or better yet, invite a friend to make it with you.

 Summer Recipes
Create your own free-form summer fruit tart! Take advantage of local seasonal peaches and berries to make this delicious dessert. Maybe substitute blueberries for blackberries in your recipe. You can use the included pie dough recipe, or purchase a packet of pie dough from the market. Did you invite friends to share your special desert?
