Play and learn this summer with PBS Kids! Get started with weekly hands-on activity collections and explore new activities.
Two age level areas are available – PreK-K and Grades 1-2.
PreK-K
Explore this collection of space-themed learning sheets, and try fun activities with Curious George, Let’s Go Luna!, Ready Jet Go!, and Arthur.

Make a Galaxy in a Jar
Galaxies are made up of gas, dust, and billions of stars and their systems. In certain locations, you can see the sparkling Milky Way — a faint band of light running through the night sky. Explore the wonders that make up our galaxy by recreating a galaxy in a jar. Collect a clear glass jar with a lid, cotton balls, glitter, and grey, blue, or purple tempera paint.
Grades 1-2
Choose your own learning adventures from this space-themed activity collection.
Activities include making your own rocket launcher with Ready Jet Go!

    Saturn’s Rings 3-D Art
Did you know that Saturn’s rings are made up of dust, ice, rocks and more? Print these instructions from Ready Jet Go! to make 3D art while learning more about Saturn's rings. Think about what kinds of craft supplies you need to create the seven rings of Saturn. Did you invite a friend to make this project with you?
