Theme: "Learn Along" Bingo: Sharing Your Creativity
Welcome to "Learn Along" Bingo with PBS Kids!  Developing new artistic ideas helps us to express our thoughts and feelings in many ways.
Two age level areas are available – PreK-K and Grades 1-2.
PreK-K
This week’s booklet offers different ideas your child can try for new artistic creations. Did you design an art collage, or try the make-your-own playdough?

Create your own sock puppet
Take an old left-over sock and create a character. Use buttons, felt, yarn, and other supplies to decorate and personalize your puppet. Then make up a story to go with your new creation.
Grades 1-2
Children love working with different art forms, and this packet offers several ideas to work with. Did you try the salt painting activity? Suggestion - in place of paint, you can drip drops of food coloring over the glue lines! What happens if you drip two colors on the same salt line?
Marbleized Paper
With this idea from Zoom, create colorful designs using shaving cream, marbles, and food coloring. You will need help from an adult collecting supplies and getting started. What colors did you use?

December Baking – Sugar Cookie Mix
Try this easy method to make and keep on hand, a simple sugar cookie dry mix. Using this recipe from America’s Test Kitchen Young Chefs’ Club, just add butter & egg & vanilla to create some holiday sugar cookies. Maybe add red & green sugar or sprinkles to decorate your cookies!

Wild Kratts: A Creature Christmas

The Wild Kratts receive an alert that their favorite creatures are suddenly disappearing around the globe. Our heroes must travel to the ends of the earth to return their baby animal friends to their homes in time for the holidays. Watch A Creature Christmas - December 25, 26, 27 from 7 to 9pm.
