Theme: "Learn Along" Bingo Family Traditions
Welcome to "Learn Along" Bingo with PBS Kids!  Sharing our family traditions helps us to respect and contribute to the diversity of our community.
Two age level areas are available – PreK-K and Grades 1-2. 
PreK-K

This week is about family traditions. Check out this packet for several suggestions of ways to learn about and celebrate your family. Are you planning a special meal for the upcoming holidays? What is your family’s favorite recipe?
Grandpere's Veggie Soup
Cooking is a great way to continue family traditions and provide children one-on-one time with the grown-ups they know. Use this Veggie Soup recipe from Daniel Tiger to make a warm and healthy meal. What are your family’s favorite soup vegetables?

Family Traditions is this week’s theme. Play and learn using these suggested activities to celebrate your family. Will you make decorations for the upcoming holidays, or watch a favorite family movie together? 
Arthur Memory Book
Families are all unique. Use this Arthur activity to make your own memory book to celebrate you and your family. How do you spend time together? What are your family traditions?
 
Arthur and his family are getting ready for Thanksgiving and it couldn’t be busier! Dad is whipping up his famous turkey dinner while the Lakewood elementary kids are preparing for the annual Thanksgiving parade. But when things start to go off course, Arthur and his friends must find a way to save the Thanksgiving celebration. Join in the excitement on November 16 with this one-hour special from ARTHUR.

Make the Most of Learning at Home with PBS KIDS  Nov.18th, 8:00PM
With children learning at home, parents and caregivers are facing new challenges. PBS KIDS invites parents and caregivers of children ages 5 - 8 to a one hour discussion with educators, a child psychologist & parents. The conversation will cover ways to use PBS KIDS resources to encourage everyday learning, tips for maintaining a strong connection with your child’s school, and developing learning routines for your family.
