Theme: "Learn Along" Bingo Healthy Me
Welcome to "Learn Along" Bingo with PBS Kids!  Developing healthy habits is important because we learn how we can take care of ourselves and people we care about.
Two age level areas are available – PreK-K and Grades 1-2.
PreK-K
This week’s packet has several ideas to help children practice healthy eating habits. Did you try a new food with Daniel Tiger, or try the make soup activity with Elinor Wonders Why?

Daniel Tiger Healthy Food
Healthy foods give us energy and make us strong. Using this Daniel Tiger food chart, pick out foods that are your favorites. Ask others to choose their favorite food too.
Grades 1-2
This time of year children can reflect on the past year, and make goals and habits for the coming 2021 year. Activities in this collection offer ideas for healthy eating, and planning new goals for the coming year. Did you try freeze dancing with Pinkalicious & Peterrific?
Moon Journal
December 29 is known as the Full Cold Moon or the Long Night Moon because nights at this time are at their longest.  Use this Moon Journal from Ready Jet Go to track and record how the moon changes shape. Add more weeks to your journal and track it for 30 days!

Avocado Toast
Why not set a new family healthy snack tradition this month! Watch this Avocado Toast video & recipe from America’s Test Kitchen Young Chefs’ Club. Priya demonstrates an easy way to make this tasty snack. Did you add a fried egg to yours?

PBS Parents Family Traditions: Cooking and Learning Together

Getting the family together in the kitchen is a great opportunity for children to learn. Children can explore math skills, learn how family history influenced recipes, discover new healthy food recipes, and create art with food. This section provides a variety of activities for children and parents.
